3D Video Kernel Support

Hi All. Does anybody know if some currently kernel support ATI Radeon IGP 320M 3D?

I'd like to get my ATI Radeon IGP 320M (Mobility U1) working with full 3D acceleration but I dont know if this is fully supported in the 2.6x kernel,

and If I need to patch it I would like some tips on applying the patches...

Thanks in advance...

hi

first of all:
what distribution are you using?

you don't need the kernel support because if you download the official drivers from www.ati.com you can get a precompiled kernel module to load into your kernel.

after this log as root and launch this utility:

fglrxconfig

and configure your graphics!

Im Using Slackware 9.1 but I think I will upgrade to Slack 10 in a couple of days.

Currently I have not found any driver for the Radeon IGP 320M. Im using the standard VESA driver with the screenbuffer turned on, but I dont have 3D support.

Thanks mrosati
