What's a good free program that will allow me to design something in 3D and add dimensions? I'm hoping for something easy to use like AutoCAD or Google Sketchup. Worse worse case scenario there is Blender, but that has quite a steep learning curve and I'm not aware of it having the ability to add dimensions, which is important when printing blueprints. There's also some 2D cad programs that could maybe be a compromise but I prefer 3D especially when designing an object that needs to fit into something, so it can be easily visualized for fitting. Anything out there that is free? I read that Google sketching can work in wine, but I really don't want to mess with that, I'm hoping for something that can run natively without having to screw around and hack something.
