X server could not start


hi......

everybody currently i am using fedora 6


when i change in my fstab entry for mounting..........

after rebooting it says X server could not start.....


startX,system-config-display,is also not working

Hello. Well most likely you're mounting some stuff read only or whatever, can you give us the output of:

Code:
cat /etc/fstab
and:

Code:
startx
?

Note that it's "startx" with a small "x" not a big one as in your post, it matters.

sysfs /sys sysps defaults 0 0

proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

LABEL=SWAP -SDA7 swap swap defaults 0 0
