Wrong date issue

Hi, I've this problem in one of my system:

system:~# date
Sat Nov 8 12:39:56 CET 2008

while the time in every log file is wrong:

system:~# logger -p info test
.....

Nov 8 06:48:52 system h725: test

How can I fix this?
My /etc/localtime is correct (link to Europe/Berlin)

Thanks

Try ntpdate clock.redhat.com to sync the time.

If not the tzdata-update or tzdata (depends on the distro) to check the
time zone.

If Redhat/CentOS/Fedora also check /etc/sysconfig/clock

Good luck!

If you've just updated your time, you may need to restart syslogd.

On a Red Hat family distro, you'd use: # service syslog restart

(Not sure which distro you're using.)
