WARNING message on boot "requires no more than 16384MB RAM "
Why when the system boots do I see this message
"redhat-support-check: WARNING: Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 8) requires no more than 16384MB RAM to run as a supported configuration. (31609MB detected)"
I have 32GB of memory and the system seems to see all the memory when I use the top command.
Will the applications work and use all 32GB? Is this a real error?
I could edit /var/lib/supportinfo and comment out MaxRAM but am I just hiding the problem?
Thanks for your help
