vsftpd (TLS/SSL/SFTP) problem

Hi!
I just install vsftpd and it is the latest version but I am still getting the error:
In CuteFTP:
COMMAND:> PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (206.217.197.207.233,78)
COMMAND:> LIST
STATUS:> Connecting FTP data socket… 206.217.197.207:59726…
ERROR:> Can’t connect to remote server. Socket error = #10065.
ERROR:> PASV failed, trying PORT.

In Filezilla:
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (206.217.197.207,157,250)
Command: LIST
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Any solution for this?

Provide details, like version/distro of Linux, and if you've configured VSFTPD to run stand-alone, or as part of xinetd. Did you start the service, and have you verified it is running? Can you connect locally to the box (i.e. log into it, and run "ftp localhost")? Have it set up for anonymous users, or to use the system logins? Do you have a firewall, and if so, have you opened the port?
