VSFTPD issue on CentOS 5.9

Guys,
I'm running a apache server on centOS 5.11 and need to upload the files via ftp (as web developer will need ftp). Now, when I turn the ftp connection, it logs in, then it gives nothing when it's about the directory listing. Failure... nothing coming out and failure only, after a prolonged hangup...

i have checked, the firewall has no entries at all... i tried from LAN too. And still iptables has added conntrack... Can you advise??

before you get too far into something

CentOS 5.9 went end of life in October of 2013

it is missing almost TWO YEARS of security updates and fixes

5.11 is the current in the old legacy support 5 series OS
with 7.1 the current OS
please check

if it is 5.9 upgrade to 5.11 ASAP
