vdisk degraded in hardware raid


Hello Friends Gurus,

I have dell PowerEdge M600 and having SAS 6/iR Integrated RAID card with two 67.5gb drives in RAID-1,


my problem is both the disk status is online, but vdisk is degraded.this occured today only first i thought there may be some problem with firmware, and i many of our other servers all servers firmware is same and vdisk status is ready.in this scenario how to trouble shoot. how to bring degraded state to ready state.

It is entirely possible that this is a firmware error. I would check to make sure that you have the latest firmwares installed on the system.

Was there any write error before you can spot in any of the logfiles?

It is a purely firmware problem, we are trying to update the firmware...
