Unhappy uptime shows 0 min

Hi ,

I have a Centos 6.8 dev machine. Recently i noticed the uptime isn't showing the right uptime. I have also updated OS and still it shows 0 min in uptime.
I see the values in /proc/uptime as 0 0 as below. Kindly advise. Thanks.

[root@smsdev ~]# uptime
02:09:40 up 0 min, 1 user, load average: 0.14, 0.11, 0.07
[root@smsdev ~]#
[root@smsdev ~]#
[root@smsdev ~]# who -b
system boot Jun 21 02:48

[root@smsdev ~]# cat /proc/uptime
0.0 0.0

Can you check these values after 5 min?

Is your computer connected to the internet?

Does the computer receive the system time from the internet?

After you have checked all, then consider that the OS is infected.

Hi Keruskerfuerst ,

I have checked - it's still the same. It's a Centos template for Proxmox Container. I am gonna remove it and create a VM with a proper Centos ISO for installation. Not gonna waste my time anymore on the Containers. Thanks alot
