SVN server authentication is not taking from NIS

Hi
i configured a SVN server but the authentication is not taking from NIS

1>i made changes on vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/subversion.conf

AuthType Basic
AuthName "Subversion Repository"
PerlAuthenHandler Apache2::AuthenNIS
PerlSetVar AllowAlternateAuth no
# AuthUserFile /path/to/passwdfile
Require user valid-user

Please help me on that

Sorry, unless you provide actual details, there's nothing we can help you with. Things like version/distro of Linux, what error(s) you're getting where and when, what version of SVN you installed and how, etc. Just saying "authentication not taking", tells us nothing.
