I installed sendmail and dovecot in centos 6.1 and installed a tar file of squirrelmail and started all services service httpd restart
service sendmail restart
service dovecot restart
and i disabled both selinux and iptables
its possible for me to forward a mail with command line
whenever am trying to open a webmail through browser its throwing a error of unable to connect firefox cant establish a connection
i gone throw log messages its not giving any error
as its working fine with centos5 but with centos6.0/6.1 am not able to connect can any one help me out

Of course you need to change /usr/share/squirrelmail/config/conf.pl to the path yoo've installed squirrelmail (as you didn't use yum to install it in /usr/share).
