squirrel behind proxy

hi,

Fiends and Gurus

i have two queries

1)Query
i configured squirrel mail in my rhel5 server kernel 2.6.18-53.el5

Every thing is working fine, for with in the network in my domain

i am behind the CC proxy 6.3.3 so, how to configure to make it globally available i mean should be accessible over internet.

2)Query
i came to know that without using the squirrel mail in rhel5.
can use only sendmail and imap, if so what would be the URL it seems may be silly to you all but it confusing me a lot.

Please spend few minutes of your Valuable time for me.

i need your one suggestion oracle dba is best or system admin is best..?

Thanks In Advance
JNreddy
