Could you give us just a little more detail, what OSs are in use, where is the Samba server and what is it running on, and what is the user using to access it? If I could get those details, we may get started down the right track to finding out where your missing data is going (I empathize with you as I have had some lost data as well). So, if you could reply with the info I requested we can start some troubleshooting and see if we can get you all fixed up!

Hi akakingess, on Friday i had reinstalling the windows and until now i didn't see any problem but i'm afraid if in the 1 month or 2 week the
same problem will show on again, cause for 2.5 month ago i had reinstall that pc too, before reinstall i had scan the whole pc using update
AV but not show any of virus.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Well, let's hope that it holds up, but if you want you can mark this one solved and then just contact me personally or post a new topic with a link to this current thread as reference if it comes back up again. We definitely want to follow through and make sure this is a permanent fix, and not temporary. Thanks for your patience and working with me to try to resolve your issue, and we will not give up if it happens again
