Small / tiny / plug server commercially available in France

I wish to run my own webserver / blog 24/7. I'm looking for something cheap, silent and small, beacause I don't have much space around. From what I have read about plug servers they are both underpowered and they overheat. Leading to using noisy fans because of their small size. Yet, I want something clearly smaller than a MacMini. Something that does not need anything more than a CAT5 cable and a power cable, because keyboard and screen are going to be remote.

Also the software pack should be under GPL because most probably it would differ from what I need.

Here, I did the googling for you. Also, not readily available in France. But for a TV show you were good. About raspberry pi I have less information. So maybe you could expand.
