Rep:
depends on what you're talking about
if it's 3 web servers you need a reverse proxy (eg. squid)
if it's 3 separate services (ftp, email, web) you just do port forwarding
i can able to access those three web pages in my LAN. i have separate index.html file for each web page in different location and i have pointed out those location in apache configuration file.
so while accessing in LAN. when requested through browser for a particular domain the corresponding index.html file for that domain is being fetched from the right location.
but when accessed outside from LAN. i am getting same web page for all the three domains, when requested through browser.
I think ,by giving different port numbers to each domain, and pointing those port numbers in my router will allow me to access it correctly from outside my LAN. but i dont know how to change port numbers.
I am using ubuntu 9.10 server edition and apache2 package.
so where i should edit to allocate different port numbers for each domain.
i was not aware of the fact that ip based web server can be accessible only in intranet. Now i configured named based and i can able to access my multiple domains in internet through my single static ip.
But while restarting the apache2 service,i am getting the following error.
apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 192.168.1.68 for ServerName
[Thu Apr 01 09:41:02 2010] [error] VirtualHost mydomain.net:80 -- mixing * ports and non-* ports with a NameVirtualHost address is not supported, proceeding with undefined results
