Server not binding properly? CentOS 6.5 and NFS

ok... am trying to get NFS working on a server so client can access it... I have started up all of the services that I am aware that need to be started, and I automounted the drive that needs to be connected so the NFS.

Couple of issues... the drive that I have connected for use with NFS is mounted to /media/nfs. It shows up on my desktop as NFS and I can navigate the drive... I cannot however do a 'cd /media/nfs' and navigate to it that way. so I am slightly concerned that NFS may not be actually looking at that drive properly as '/media/nfs' is how I defined it in Exports.

2ndly... as per the attached photo... I am not really sure that IP4 is properly binding to the service... I am seeing IP6 and what appears to me to be some sort of IP4 thunking... I cant tell as I am still really new to Linux...

I appreciate your guidance folks, you have helped me immensely so far...

Matt

Turned out to be iptables that was causing all of my grief... it's a lab, so I just shut em off.
