Script help for Installation of Client on Unix system

Hi,

I am implementing BigFix tool, for UNIX I need help to create script for installation of BigFix client on *nix systems.
I am thinking to install BigFix using a script which will install correct version of BigFix client, is there any script available or what i need to do create a script for this task

Or Is there any Open source tool available to installation of this kind of thing on *nix?

Hi,

If you cannot find an installation script for that application then you can always write one yourself. Just automate all the steps you normally perform on the console. Do you have experience with Bash scripting? If you do, then start with that, it's the closest to console commands. If you could post the steps you need to perform in order to install the application then someone could point out how to automate it the best way.
