Samba join in domain without krebreos

Hi all,

I want to join linux box to a windows domain.so i installed samba and winbind on Redhat 6.1 and no problem on pinging on both machines. my samba file configured like this,

workgroup= TESTING
netbios name = dc1
security = domain
password server = *
winbind separator = +
idmap uid = 10000-20000
idmap gid = 10000-20000
winbind enum users = yes
winbind enum groups = yes
template shell = /bin/bash
template homedir = /home/%D/%U
winbind use default domain = yes

when i check the wbinfo -t also succeded.
but wbinfo -t shows RPC failed. & wbinfo -u nothing comes.
then finally type the command
net rpc join -S TESTING -U administrator%password
output shows (credentials failed) NT_STATUS_INVALID_COMPUTER_NAME

Please suggest me if any parameters are missing or anything else

Thanks

you will have to use samba4 if you want to join windows machine to your linux server using kerberos authentication

why do you need samba to join to a windows domain

I have not tried so may not give you a perfect answer but
Code:
net ads join
is the command you are looking for

something like

Code:
#net ads join -Uadministrator%password
