Samba folder permissions and structure question
Here is what I am trying to do:
I have set up a samba share, and in it, I have a shared folder called "share". Once you connect to that, I have 5 folders underneath, "Private", "SW", "Projects", "Tech", and "incoming". I want the "Private" to be viewable and writable to just me, "SW", "Tech", and "Projects" viewable and writable to anyone I give an account to, and I want "incoming" to be just writable, as in a drop-box of sorts. Assuming I have only set up an account just for me, using the smbpasswd -a username to set that up, what is the best way to do what I want to do
does that make sense?
Here is what my "share" looks like in smb.conf
[share]
path = /share
admin users = adam
write list = adam
