RUDE and CRUDE codes

Hello everyone. This is a question I've had burning though my brain for a long time. I applied for a job with a web server provider. One of the questions they asked me was if I knew what a CRUDE code was.

I've gone to school for Linux system admin, and taken classes in security. I have never before come across this kind of a program or anything like it.

After the interview I looked it up and was only able to find sparse information about it on sourceforge. So I though I'd ask the experts here. Anyone know where I can find information about these programs or how to use them?

Thanks

Possibly an acronym instead of "code" or "program"?

Yeah, (Collector for) Real-Time UDP Data Emitter, is what it is. But like I said I couldn't find any information on how it's used really.

I glanced at http://sourceforge.net/projects/rude/?source=directory
but having been in the "hosting business" for years, I've never heard of this either.
