GIVEN the steps already in the first reply. Not paying for RHEL? Then load CentOS. Using RHEL? Then
PAY FOR IT, period...there is no gray area. What you're doing makes no sense at all...even with non-critical servers, you will be running unpatched, unupdated, insecure servers, with bugs, for NO REASON.
And if you want the steps to do this, I suggest you read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature, and do basic research on your own first. This is well documented on both the CentOS and RHEL websites, as far as upgrade procedures. If you're paying for RHEL, there is a command you can run that will upgrade your server for you...but
ONLY IF YOU PAY, and RHEL support can walk you through it.
