proftp users can't access

Hello Fellows!
I setup my debian squeeze with proftp server. And when i login with debian users, but don't show files. Just show a error - deny access in folder.
Is not that best way create simple users/folders in system to access? I have tried do chmod 777 -R in user folder, but the same error is showed.
Thanks.

This may be selinux contexts. Also, what does your messages and ftp log file show for the exact error?

Run "sestatus" and see what mode it says its in.

You can also look at your audit.log file and see if anything is reporting in there.

The problem was a samba user...it was a diferentt user from ftp that has access in user folder (/home/user...)

Thanks!
