There's not much we can tell you, based on what you posted. Is the problem ALL the time, or SOMETIMES?? Got to narrow it down a bit, and based on the log info you posted, there's nothing much there that points to a problem. If you're only having problems with Microsoft Outlook clients, and only then SOMETIMES, chances are the problem is on the Windows side. Have you contacted Microsoft support?

You are not contacted Microsoft support ...

But I would like to ask if there are already problems between Outlook and postfix or dovecot in general

No idea what you mean by this. But if you need support for Windows or Outlook, you need to contact Micrsoft

No, there aren't. Again, if you're having a problem SOMETIMES, then it's also WORKING sometimes. If it's working, and there are no changes on the server (Linux) side of things, then the problem is on the client side. Again, check the client.

Could you specify which distro is running in your postfix/dovecot box? It could help narrow down distro-dependent issues (which might be listed in your distro's "known issues" page or your distros bug-tracker site).

The OP posted it as "redhat llinux 4.0", but that still doesn't tell us alot. If it IS RedHat Linux 4.0, it's ancient. If it's RedHat ENTERPRISE 4.0, it could be AS, ES, or WS, and (in the case of RHEL), the OP then also has support from RedHat.

Right...you said that in your initial post. However, you STILL haven't answered any questions we've asked you. We've asked you:
  • If the problem is ALL the time or SOMETIMES
  • What version/distro of Linux. You say RedHat 4.0, but there are SEVERAL things that fit that.
  • Have you contacted Microsoft Support, since your problem is with Microsoft products/Windows/Outlook
But based on your package names, you should also contact RedHat support, since you're PAYING FOR IT with your RedHat enterprise subscription. And again, if the problem is "sometimes", and the problem is ONLY with Outlook clients, then you should contact Microsoft support, since those are THEIR products.
