Problem starting multiple vnc sessions

Greetings:

I'm tryig to get multiple vnc sessions to start on a server at boot time. I seem to only be able to get one session to atart automatically.

I've set up each user with a VNC password and checked each "xstartup" file. I can start a vncserver manually logged in as each user and then connect to it from a remote computer.

I've edited the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file and added entries for the users (see below). But when I reboot the machine the only VNC session that starts is the one for the last user in the list.

Any ideas?

/etc/sysconfig/vncservers:
------------------------------------------
# The VNCSERVERS variable is a list of display:user pairs.
#
# Uncomment the lines below to start a VNC server on display :2
# as my 'myusername' (adjust this to your own). You will also
# need to set a VNC password; run 'man vncpasswd' to see how
# to do that.
#
# DO NOT RUN THIS SERVICE if your local area network is
# untrusted! For a secure way of using VNC, see

# VNCSERVERS="2:myusername"
# VNCSERVERARGS[2]="-geometry 800x600"

VNCSERVERS="12:dan"
VNCSERVERS="13:joe"
VNCSERVERS="14:mp2"
VNCSERVERS="15:greg"

VNCSERVERARGS[12]="-geometry 1024x768 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[13]="-geometry 1024x768 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[14]="-geometry 1100x1100 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[15]="-geometry 1280x1024 -depth 24"
---------------------------------------------

Thanks for your time,

I belive I fixed my own problem.

As it turns out I had the systax of the vncservers file incorrect. The correct syntax for multiple users is:

VNCSERVERS="1:jim 2:bob 3:larry"

I had originally set each one up on a sperate line which caused only the last one to start.

Thanks for reading my note...

Thanks for posting the answer, it may help others.

To clarify, only the "VNCSERVERS=" lines get combined, the "VNCSERVERARGS[ ]=" lines remain separate, i.e. the core of your file looks like this:
Code:
VNCSERVERS="12:dan 13:joe 14:mp2 15:greg"

VNCSERVERARGS[12]="-geometry 1024x768 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[13]="-geometry 1024x768 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[14]="-geometry 1100x1100 -depth 24"
VNCSERVERARGS[15]="-geometry 1280x1024 -depth 24"
