Problem running BIND in opensuse 11.2


Hi all

I just download OpenSUSE 11.2 x86-64 distro. I installed it. No problem.

I run bind but i cannot start named. Other server services were running well.(dhcp, squid, apache2....)

I cannot start bind only.

help me

Hi -

It should be as simple as going into YaST2 and enabling DNS.

You didn't provide any specifics as to what you tried, or what might have gone wrong.

Definitely look at your /var/log/messages file, to see if there were any errors when you tried to start "named".
