problem related with DNS server


hello,

i hv installed the DNS server through rpms,after configuration when i starts the service(named)then it displayes dat:


stopping named: [Failed]

starting named: named:user 'named' unknown [Failed]




so, pls give me the solution.

My ipaddr is 192.168.1.2
nameserver is same.
Computer name is Beta

&

I want to resolve beta1.com with same ipaddr(192.168.1.2)

it's trying to run a program as a user that doens't exist, either create the "named" user with useradd or change the user account that runs it, probably to root, which is proabbly in the service script itself.
