Problem in using aide package

I've installed aide package and configured it to mail the output.
When I run the aide command, these errors are shown:

Unsupported output URL-type:mailto:farid
Couldn't open file /var/lib/aide/aide.db.gz for reading

If that file doesn't exist then initialize the database.

As far as I know the format should be "user@host". If that doesn't work ponder creating a cron job or shell script that makes AIDE send logging to stdout, pipe through mail and send the report that way.
