Unhappy Postfix not receiving mail


Hi, i can send mail but i can't receive mail. please help me.

tail message is below;

i have no idea why this keeps happening.....

neither have we with no useful information, none of those log entries show anything relevant. You've also not properly described the problem, are there any errors on the client side? Have you set up MX records to recieve the mail? Where are you trying to receive it from?

It looks like you have a couple of problems, but acid_kewpie is right in that more information is needed in order to begin to help you. For starters, all of the "unknown" tags indicate that you have a DNS problem and mail relies on being able to do DNS queries. Second, in the receive section, there is no indication of recipient, perhaps because of all the unknowns. It looks like postfix attempts to receive it, has no idea who it is for, i.e. is it for its networks (which indicates it should deliver) or not (indicating attempt to relay). Consequently, it performs cleanup and dumps the message.

Got it - Solved

Thanks guys for helping me out, i had not set some values in Dovecot conf.so yeah i got it working know.
