You should look at the maillog.
Do you have mail in
/var/spool/mail/user ?

Kind regards

Do you see if a connection is made to deliver the mail?
If there is no connection, you should receive some error messages from the mailserver sending the mail.
From where are you sending the mails?
Are you sure the MX records are correct?
Take a look at

Kind regards

I had this exact same issue
The problem is,
99% of all mail providers (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo and the majority of standard mail providers, including, I think anything that runs spamassasin)
Will not accept any mail from a dynamic IP address, whatever settings you change on the server or in your DNS they can tell if it's a dynamic IP allocated by your ISP so will not accept mail.

Your best bet is to talk to your ISP and see if they offer a mail relay service. I.E. I'm with Virgin Media (UK) and I can just use smtp.virgin.net as a mail forwarder, if I'm inside their network I don't even have to authenticate so in your outbound server settings in your mail client just set smtp.virgin.net (Or the equivalent from your ISP). With some ISPs you may have to authenticate with your email account but you should still be able to send mail with a custom From header.

Alternatively you can check out a commercial SMTP relay service, or just get a cheep mail hosting package.

Ok guys i have figured it out. DYNDNS sets the hosts incorrectly for MX records. make sure to set the host not to doamin.com but to mail or smtp or whatever it is .domain.com so it equals in my case mail.domain.com. But i do have another question how can i send email via smtp relay or something because hotmail is blocking dynamic ips.

In postfix set the smtp from your provider as the smarthost

Just use the smtp from your provider.
It's the same you would use if you configure your email client to sent mail.

Kind regards
