Postfix + Dovecot slackware


Howto solve that on slackware linux:

Jun 17 19:57:53 erdos postfix/smtpd[21102]: warning: SASL authentication failure: Could not open /etc/sasldb2: gdbm_errno=8
Jun 17 19:57:53 erdos postfix/smtpd[21102]: warning: SASL authentication failure: no secret in database
Jun 17 19:57:53 erdos postfix/smtpd[21102]: warning: HOST[IP]: SASL CRAM-MD5 authentication failed: authentication failure
Jun 17 19:57:53 erdos postfix/smtpd[21102]: warning: SASL authentication failure: Could not open /etc/sasldb2: gdbm_errno=8
Jun 17 19:57:53 erdos postfix/smtpd[21102]: warning: SASL authentication failure: Could not open /etc/sasldb2: gdbm_errno=8

I've solved it, just added to /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf

mech_list: plain login

That file before:

pwcheck_method: saslauthd
