Perhaps if you include an error message(s), version/distro of Linux, and what you've done/tried, we can help. All you've done here is tell us what you can't do.
And from what you've posted, you're using Fedora Core 6...which is very, VERY old. The latest is 12, I believe, and 13 is not far away, if it's not out already.
