Patch Status Software

Hi. Do you guys know of some kind of software to keep track of the current patch level on servers. I'm looking for something like the Red Hat Network (RHN) but that works with other distributions and if possible some flavours of UNIX (HP-UX and Solaris).

It doesn't need to be anything fancy and free software is off course preferred.
