Question Opensuse Apache Connection issue

I am running opensuse with LAMP, and this is my first time setting up this type of server (usually am a windows junkie)

My problem i am having is that I am unable to view my website from outside the local network.

I have setup my router for a dynamic dns and forwarded all the ports through the router and the local firewall. I ran the apache setup through YAST2 and everything seems fine locally but when i attempt to access it elsewhere its not connecting.

computechsolutions.dyndns.biz is the dynamic dns address i have setup through my router.
I hope someone can please help me.

Thanks in advance
sorch

I tried to access your web site. I got this message.
Code:
Access forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 403

Apache/2.2.15 (Linux/SUSE)
This is apparently a security issue. It seems that Apache is only allowing connections from your LAN.

I'm not an Apache expert so I don't know where to look for the source of the problem. Maybe YAST2 will have some setting under the web server to allow access from other subnets.

You have to set the <Directory >-tag in httpd.conf for the DocumentRoot so it allows to browse the directory or give it a default page to load if not specified.
Take a look:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod...html#directory

but re-reading your post I wonder why it shows on the local web, hmm

Is it defined as a virtual host?
