NTP Server

I would like to implement NTP Server.

Information :
1. I have 9 Servers. All Servers are Linux Redhat AS3.
2. One Server will be NTP Server and other Servers will be NTP Client.

I have some questions:
1.When NTP client will synchronize to NTP Server?(every 15 Min.or something).
2.How to check that synchronization successfully?

Cheers,

ntp will check when ntp wants to check. initially it's every 16 seconds i think, but will eventually drop down to as rarely as 1024 seconds as it gets more confident in a systems own clock. you can see the status of ntp with "ntpq -pn" on each machine.
