ngrep install error "couldn't find a complete set of pcap headers"

i am running CentOS 5 and have downloaded ngrep-1.45 and have libpcap-0.9.4.14 installed. here is the error i get when i do a /configure

checking for a broken redhat glibc udphdr declaration... no
checking for a complete set of pcap headers... no

i uninstalled and reinstalled libpcap-0.9.4.14 but that didn't help. What else should i try?

Hi there,
Just trying to do the same thing myself, and came up against the headers issue.
Something in the back of my mind suggested development, so

yum install libpcap-devel
