Question New Server, New Problem

Hi Guys, this is the first post from an old fan =)
I'd love to know if there are any chances to solve my problem.
I have a server at home that serves for a few things, like proxy and web server.
All the traffic from the outside world coming in ports 22,80 and 10000 are directed to the server.
It has SSH and webmin but i need it to have also Glassfish or Tomcat in order to test some applications for work. The problem is: how do i open ports on the router from remote? I won't be home for at least 3 weeks, otherwise it would have been an easy task.
Thanks in advance and sorry for (if any) grammar mistakes =)

what kind of router do you have? what is the router doing? is it running the firewall?

much more information about the topography of your network is required, but off hand I'd say ssh in and do the configuration that way.

The router is a Tp-Link TD-W8980 and it has no firewall, i am the only user of the server.
I can't SSH to the router anyway, and the telnet CLI won't let me configure port redirects =(

Ok, so I'm guessing that your router has a web interface that can be accessed from your LAN side? If that's the case then use SSH tunnelling to create a tunnel from your current machine, through your server to port 80 or 443 of your router.
