New issue with Dovecot

I now have an issue with getting my mail from the directory /var/mail/kip I thought when the test for outlook passed all was well. Not so (egg on my face). The mail can't be retrieved by outlook. Any suggestions on mail_location paths for Fedora 17. I have searched for a couple days now with no luck. I can send mail fine and it receives it but can't pull it from the server. No problems with port 25. I am still thinking Dovecot is having problems with finding the mail directory. Thanks,

Update, I now works!!!!!!

I used this statement from the Dovecot site, seems to fix pop3 problem of me receiving mail.

mail_location = mbox:/var/empty:INBOX=/var/mail/%u:INDEX=MEMORY
