Network statistics using ifstat command


Hi,
I need to get the network details like In traffic, Out traffic, packet drops and packet error using ifstat command.

Note:
Linux os: centos 5.5
No.of ethetnet interfaces: eth0 only

ifstat doesn't report packet drops and errors. In order to only see a specific interface, you'd use the -i flag:

ifstat -t -T -i eth0
You're only going to see activity, not errors. Use ifconfig to monitor errors, drops, and overruns.
