Need help on Squid Setup

Hello,

I am running a Ubuntu 12.04 server and need to setup Squid proxy for internal users.

I have a requirement, wherein i should allow access only yo https://www.google.co.on/search and anything else like https://www.google.co.in or https://www.google.co.in/<anything> should be banned.

Can someone help me how can i acheive this?

I know that the default options with Squid like url_regex or urlpath_regex or dstdomain are not helping me..

Thanks
Durga

We can try to help, but have you tried looking at the Squid documentation???
http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/SquidAcl
..or some how-to guides on how to block websites?
http://www.linuxcandy.com/2012/02/ho...-easy-way.html

You say those options are not helping...but don't post the relevant parts of your config so we can see if there are problems. The second site posted is one of MANY that comes up in a Google search for "how to block a website in squid". There are bolded lines that you can add/modify in your config to let you use a 'blacklist' of sites that users can't access, while allowing others.
