I setup a new Linux Fedora core 7 server and now i have 2 make mail server for my small organization.. Currently i m using Postfix and dovecot as a MTA and MDA.. Now i need more in mail server like remote web administration of mail server, webmail solution .. Now any open source package for solving all the problems like MTA, web administration, web mail, spam, virus scan etc..
I serached in google and it shows me Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0 and Kerio MailServer 6 but i think it is not free version .. So please if somebody knows open source free version of mail solution, please tell me...
well i'm planning on implementing zimbra soon for about 25 people. there is the community version with most of the functionality for free, but not that the subscription really are pretty cheap... $25 per year per seat with no initial purchase.
If your organization can afford to spend a couple of hundred dollars in exchange for you saving many hours of time, I suggest you take a look at a commercial mail package.
Surgemail is great and much easier to setup than qmail or postfix.
