named.broadcast and named.zero

Hi, I found in my BIND (DNS) the following configuration. Does anyone know what they are for?
named.conf

Those are reverse pointer zone definitions. They are there to stop queries to the root nameservers for broadcast and local IP addresses. Refer to section 4.1 in RFC 1912.

Here is a list of DNS-related RFCs.

The zone names in your zone definition statements are incorrect. There should not be a period after xxx.in-addr.arpa in the zone name.
