mail command on gentoo

hi

i am new to gentoo, i am planning to write a script to send emails .
i am familiar with the mail command used to send email
mail -s "subject" user@mailbox.
but i am not able to find that command on gentto,
or is there anything similar to that command that can be used on gentoo.

please can anyone tell me a command that can be used to send emails from the command line.

Kind Regards,
