I am looking for a Cloud Server that I can run on my home Linux server. The purpose of which is to share files with family and friends. These family and friends need something simple to use. I have had a look at OwnCloud which for me was very easy to install. However the lack of documentation and the fact I could not work anything out, for example I could not add a group meant that my users would certainly find it a challenge.

Is there is something other than OwnCloud that someone could recommend. Ideally something like Dropbox would be fantastic? I am currently using FTP but I would like to get away from this.

I have been looking at this http://ajaxplorer.info/ . They have a nice web interface and desktop/cell phone apps.
