Linux Cs Server


Hi

I am trying to make a game server in my linux server. but when i try to run i get this error


Protocol version 46
Exe version 3.1.1.1
Exe build: 22:35:19 Apr 29 2003 (2378)
Error connecting to Auth server: ES_ERROR_NO_TYPE
Auth Server
Server IP address XX.XX.XX.XXX:27015
Downloading Security Module from Speakeasy.net ...
Error downloading Security Module from Speakeasy.net
Server is not Secure.
Trying to authenticate with WON servers

Maybe you should post this on a forum related to the game itself, because this isn't really a Linux problem. It looks like your game server is unable to connect to some external servers related to the game. A bit of googling for "ES_ERROR_NO_TYPE" shows that others have run into this with CS. Perhaps a firewall is blocking you? See if you can ping that IP address, and see if you can connect to that IP and port number (a telnet client is a simple way to test that).
