linux cluster management

Hi

Is there any procedure or method through which I am able to send signal/message from cluster management(CMS) to the server(s) present in the cluster.

For eg. I want to send SIG_USR1 signal from the cluster to node 1.
How can this be done.

Regards
Nimish
