LAMP Server Issue


Hi,

i have configured a lamp server and its working great i have also configured samba with it and shared HTML directory, when user is connecting to that directory many times i have to give the permission to the specific directory.

how can i assign permanent access rights to the users on whole directory.

Can you give us a more specific example (i.e. example directory layout, which directories you're talking about exactly, etc.)? I can't quite understand the question.

samba server which i have configure in that i have shared html directory for users, where they can keep there project files and can directly run from there, but many times what happens if they want to create or edit any directory or file, they are not able to do that so, and at that moment i need to give the permission to that specific file or directory. i want to give full access to that directory and that must be permanent so that everytime i dont need to give the permission.
