Exclamation -jar not understood?


Hey everyone,

I am trying to run a minecraft server on centos. Everytime i try to start the server, it tells me that -jar is not understood and is being ignored. Therefore, i cant start the server, can anyone help me with this? Thank you!

Do you have the Java runtime installed? Java .jar files should be run as:

java -jar filename.jar

Thank you for the help. I don't know if i have them installed. Is there a way to check? Anyway, whenever I try starting the server, I get this. I have attached the png file. It is called capture.png
