Is there any issues after deploying a RHEL VM with RHN from a VMware Template?

Hi pal

I've configured templates of RHEL5 & RHEL6 in VMware which is registered to RHN and updated the latest patches. i want to deploy VM from that templates to provision new servers in my env. So is there any issues with the RHN entitlement certificate? will the server get the latest patches after deploying from the template? and after provisioning the new servers will that server get the upcoming updates or we need to register to RHN once again for the newly deployed servers?

In the real world how you people are doing? is there any advantages/disadvantages doing like this.

any suggestion will be grateful !

If you want to know what entitlements you get with your RHEL subscription, the best people to ask would be Red Hat.

If you are paying for updates, the system won't care if it's a VM or not...it'll only care about a connection to the Red Hat network. Contact Red Hat for subscription information, and explain your concerns/questions to them.
