Hi there.

My apologies if this is a dumb question, but I really don't know.
At the time, I'm trying to make a server which has identical software installed as another, old, server.

At the time of this post, the server is containing openSSH 5.5p1, but I'd like it to use OpenSSH 3.8.1p1.

I got two problems.
a) How on earth am I to install an older version? Does the apt-get cover this too?

b) I only have ssh-access to the server, which really makes this task difficult, since I'm trying to remove the only door in, to put an older one up.

Any suggestions, hints and other info will greatly appreciated.

a) You can compile it from source. Availability of old package is difficult.

b) If there comes a errror in remote server setup, you can't login. Better have another way to login.
