It depends how you would like to access the system.
SSH will allow you to terminal into a shell (or commandline). This is always the most commonly used method of controlling a *nix environment.
XRDP is similar to windows remote desktop, it allows you to access a gui (if thats what your running).
I would not recommend teamviewer for accessing your system remotely (on a day to day basis). I would also not recommend you use redhat linux server as a "getting to know linux" option.
I would try one of the more user friendly systems such as Ubuntu & Fedora. This will give you an idea on what linux is all about...
